Major Battery Drain Since VZW Android 6.0 Update

I had an issue with my T-Mobile M9 draining 30% of power in 6-7 hours (when I was asleep) with all apps closed and the phone restarted. I got fed up with the power drain and factory reset the phone. Since that factory reset, the battery life has been amazing. I now lose about 3% of power in that time frame. I also noticed after the factory reset, the home screen locked changed. Not sure why that is as I had updated my phone's apps fully prior to factory resetting. Factory resetting is probably not what you want to hear, but it worked for me.

Definitely don't want to hear factory resetting. I've been doing some tests and noticed my battery issues are most prevalent when I'm connected to my company's wi-fi. I think the fact that there are numerous access points throughout the building that the phone may be getting bombarded on staying connected to just one. I mean there is an access point in every conference room and one about every 30 ft in the actual office space.

I know the other battery issue is Candy Crush. That game eats an insane amount of battery as compared to streaming video. I get almost 2x the battery life streaming videos then I do playing that stupid game.

Is this normal: I have been using my phone for just over an hour for internet browsing and social network apps and the battery has dropped 14%.(Wi-Fi + battery saving location).

I have a feeling my battery drain has something to do with this. The OS thinks there's no signal and probably using more power to transmit. Anybody else see this on their phone?
