Ok,this has been going on for a month!
Firstly, the system is android 4.1.2. I believe there are newer versions but it will not update. I have had the phone for about 1 year when the issues started occurring.
Next, I can not get a stable signal with any sim in the phone. I have tried turning flight mode on and off, changing the network to GSM rather than auto. I have tried a factory reset. Turning the phone off for a few minutes and back on. ALL do nothing.
When I do get a signal, if I do ANYTHING out of the ordinary, such as turn on 3g or Wi-Fi to use the play store then it will kick off the signal I have. It will also do this if I am in a bad signal area. It is nothing to do where I live as I travel a lot around the south west (UK) and recently travelled to London and Croatia and had the same problem. No it did not start when I went to Croatia I was already 4 weeks in to my issues. If I lose signal it will take at least 30 minutes and up to 6 hours to get a working signal.
Also, when I do get a signal and try to make a call, within 5 minutes of the call it will cut out and lose signal.
I believe the real issues started about the same time as the new update to the Nav app on the phone. This was hands down the best app on the phone and they tried to update it to the google maps sat nav which is RUBBISH!
I am at my wits end and want to get this sorted.
Is there anyone out there who is having the same issues or that can give me a solution not listed above? For example downloading a new update for the system.
