Make a Umidigi A5 Pro work with a universal wireless charger

I've got a Umidigi A5 Pro and I've been trying to get it to work with a couple universal wireless chargers.
I know that Umidigi has a branded wireless charger, but I was hoping to make the phone work with what I have right now.

Has anyone tried modifying the phone to work with other chargers?

Is it a frequency thing with the charger? Is this how they can force the phone to only work on their own charger?

Welcome to Android Central! The specs don't mention wireless charging: https://www.umidigi.com/page-umidigi_a5pro_specification.html. Do you mean that Umidigi offers a wireless charging kit? A kit would suggest a wireless charging coil that you have to attach to the phone, which then connects to the USB port.
