Make keyboard pop above window

I often use the multi window mode (the one where you drag from the corner) on touch wiz, however every time I want to type something with one open it pops over the keyboard. Then I need to drag it to the top of the screen and it will cut off the number bar of the keyboard. Is there a way to make the keyboard pop over it?

Even better, is there a way to make a YouTube video 'pop out' so that it just shows the video not the comments and stuff? Thanks
I know about ogyoutube but then I can't sign in to the app. I'm not rooted still on lollipop.
