Make keyboard slide smoother

yea good idea to remove the plastic from the back..NOT... but any way i prefer a tighter slide then it will not flop open but each his own..

I removed that annoying plastic to get rid of the bubbles that were forming behind my screen

DO NOT...I REPEAT DO NOT REMOVE THE PLASTIC OFF THE BACK OF THE SLIDER.... this will cause all the memory to leak out. j.k. lol. im bored.

Man...I removed the plastic and then read the first part of your post. I freaked and was about to do a battery pull...

lol

Oh god that's hilarious! X-D

I never actually knew that stupid plastic could come off...just did and the keyboard slides so much smoother now...thanks to the one who discovered that!

I don't know how you couldn't notice, if you're a heavy physical keyboard user it will bubble. If you don't use the physical keyboard, its better to leave it on so that the slider is stiffer and more like a brick phone.

Nope, this phone doesn't have any spring assist like some others do, so it will never spring.

Its not a sidekick. but the screen definitely feels more free to motion now. so I'm happy for now. I might have to purchase one of those stickers eventually to tighten it back up after some wear and tear.

It's already been confirmed by Motorola and Verizon. That plastic IS supposed to be taken off the phone. You can however leave it on if you want. It was NOT made to be part of the phone. This subject was brought up when the phone first came out, which led to that company that now makes the stickers for the back of the phone. Pretty genius if you ask me. Anyhow, yes, it is safe to take the plastic off because....it's supposed to come off.

I just ordered one of those Android stickers for the back. Thanks Erica for the link.
Ordered the off-set robot in green on a black background. I'll post a pic when it comes (week or two).
