Make this stop

I was at Five Guys 2 days ago. I don't want to review it.
I know I can review it and it'll stop showing up in the notification bar.
But I don't want these place reviews at all.
Idk why it's so hung up on 5 Guys, which I love.
But it hasn't done it with anywhere else I've been with the phone.
Thoughts?

Got to map.. Then settings and then notifications

To change this you need to go to Notifications/Google/ then tap on the 'i' to access the settings and then turn off 'Places'.

this is great. thank you so much for asking how to stop this. I had quit using google maps because of that and the constant popups while driving that block my view and distract me while trying to navigate. maybe some of it will go away now.

Well, lol, I spoke too soon. It just popped back up.
I'll do its evaluation so it'll leave me alone.
But maybe your suggestion will stop any future annoyances like this.

I went here several days ago.
I finally reviewed it gave it 5 stars, which it is lol
But Wth a guy gotta do to make it stop? It just keeps popping up in my notifications bar.
I've turned off map reviews or whatever it's called in Google.
Any ideas?
It keeps making me hongry.

See my post above. Just turn off all Google notifications. Otherwise go through this setting and pick and choose what Google notifications you want.

Seen this on another thread....
Google Maps> Settings> Notifications> Your contributions> Questions about places
AND.......
Google Now > Settings > Notifications > Your Feed > Places

The easiest solution is the stop eating over there. The grease level in your body will go down from one gallon to half a tablespoon!

I did all of these and haven't seen it for seveal hours now. This was crazy.
It was even popping up on my Note 4, not activated but use for remote and on WIFI at home.

I tried ignoring it but it was weird. It just kept popping up every few hours. I've never had one do that.
