Making Notifications Sound More Than Once

So basically, I'm asking if there is a way to make your chosen notification tone play more than once.

For example, I have a 1 second sound set up for a text message (I use HandcentSMS BTW), I'd like it to play the sound again (repeat) after it's done.

Can you do that with Handcent, stock text or another program? I'd like to be able to do it for emails as well. Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to do this...

In Handcent, go into the notification settings and click notification settings, lol, I know, but it's listed as that again, scroll down to reminders and you can set how many reminders you want, how often you want them and wether or not to turn the screen on. I hope that helps.

Are you looking just to repeat the notification once? If you want to do so for email as well you'll probably want to look into a repeat notifcation app.

As a workaround, you could edit the sound file and have it repeat within the file.
