I'm thinking about making the switch from BB Tour to the Incredible. Any former Tour users make the switch? Thoughts? Was it hard going to an on-screen keyboard?

That's the exact switch I made. The only thing I miss is bbm. For the first hour or so I thought I'd never figure out typing on the inc, but that doesn't last too long. The physical keyboard will always be a little better, but its not a deal-breaker. And other than that....i have found everything else about this phone to be far superior to the tour. I'm not one of these rim bashers either. I loved my tour. The incredible is just much better.

I went from using a curve for almost 2yrs off and on to the incredible and I love the keyboard I'm using it now it takes about a day to love it and about a week to get all the way use to it but you will love it

I just made the switch from a Tour and am loving every moment. Actually went to a Tour from a Storm 1 and had vowed never to get another touch screen, but that changed when I tried an Inc at a VZW store. Would recommend that you do the same.

I was a long time BB and Palm user ...two words ...do it !

You will be amazed at how much faster this phone is, especially web based apps. No worrying anymore about free memory, etc.

The only thing I miss about my BB is it had great battery life ...DINC ...not so much, one flaw that bugs me.

Never owned a BB, Never wanted to. I've worked with them since their pre-phone days and always felt the UI was wanting. I actually had a boss come to me once and say... We're all getting BB's which one do you want? None. I'll keep my StarTec and you can call me whenever you want like you always do. ;)

But sreiously, you will not regret the move to Android and the DInc especially.

I switched from a Tour to an Incredible. It took a couple of hours to get used to the keyboard (I ended up downloading Swype), but only real learning curve. To me, the Android platform is very intuitive.

The one thing I missed was my Outlook notes. I'm one of those weird folks who actually use them for rarely used (but sometimes needed) reference information at work. To get around this, I forwarded all of my Notes to my Gmail account and tagged them "Notes." Now I can easily access them on my DInc.

Trust me, once you make the switch you will never look back. The speed of this phone is incredible and the browser is actually usable. ;-)

I made the switch but from a curve 8330 instead of a tour.It hasnt been hard getting use to the on-screen keyboard compaired to the blackberry keyboard . I still have my 8330 as well and I use them both not a problem to type on either .

I had a blackberry for a year was going to get the bold 9650 but I wanted a more radical change, lol :p .Glad I changed my mind and got the incredible .

It may take you a bit of time to get used to the Inc, but it is far superior to anything BB can do when you break your mind off the BIS logic and look for solutions in the app store and forums. Open is so.....well open.
