Just watching some video and after a couple mins the 10 heats up quite a bit. I can't remember my M7 getting this warm. Is this normal?

How hot are we talking? Is it just warm enough that you feel it, or is it too hot to hold? If it's actually hot, I don't think that's a good thing. Devices will heat up with heavy use, but there's a line between regular, normal heating and overheating. Be careful!

Mine gets a little warm when it's doing something intensive, but that's been true of every phone I've ever had. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Yeah, mine will get a little warm, but not what Id consider hot. My M8 got warmer when using quick charge than the 10 has ever gotten.

Can you let us know a specific temperature? Hot can be vague...

It doesn't get too hot to hold, just seems to get warmer than my other devices...and quicker.
Is there a good temp app that I can grab to keep an eye on things?

Is it hot enough to shut down?

Isn't it possible that the HTC 10 could be perceived to be hotter because the metal back conducts heat more?

Mine will get warm but it was running about 102 degrees max which isn't that bad. My s7 edge shows usually about 2 degrees cooler than the 10 will, but the s7 actually feels hotter to touch

GSAM Battery Monitor. As the name implies, it gives a ton of stats about battery usage, but it also shows you the temperature.

Mine seems to get warm as well. Not too warm to hold. But 96° from just browsing AC on wifi with brightness at around 30-40%
I feel like other phones don't get that warm that easily

I used the HTC 10 for about a week.. yeah the 10 heats up more than an oven on Thanksgiving Day.
