Manual Camera app vs Camera FV-5 app for the most pro-like manual camera control?

Are there any amateur or pro photographers out there who have used any of these 2 apps to enhance your phones camera capabilities?

If so which out of these 2 give the most control, and how?

I've tried both, they both do give results similar to a DSLR.

HOWEVER - there's a GOTCHA.

Both apps will only do whatever is allowed by the actual camera on the phone. I cannot get manual focus with a Motorola X Pure. The default camera doesn't support it.

The default camera app, in manual mode, on my ATT LG G4 gives me control over:
shutter speed
ISO
flash
focus point auto-focus
manual focus
white balance
auto-exposure compensation
auto-exposure lock
file format (8-bit jpg or 10-bit dng)

As Zuben points out, what you can do is dependent on your hardware and what the default software is.

The G4 is one hell of a great phone. I'm a fan of HTC and Sony myself, but the LG has definitely won me over with it's exceptional camera abilities. I'm looking at buying a new phone atm, and all those 3 brands are on the top of my list.
