Had a chance to test out the manual camera app last night and I love it! I was at a birthday party for my niece who just turned 4 - it was great to mess about with the shutter speed and see how easier it was to catch kids running without blur. I thought I would miss the HDR+ on the stock camera, but so far I can't fault it.

Hello, anyone knows if manual camera can adjust exposure compensation on lollipop 5.1?
There is a bug in this release that prevent new APIs to work properly. In fact there is no way to use it in the stock app, also switching on the toggle in advanced settings you won't see the relative button appears.

The bug is actually in the API, so nothing can use it until they fix it.

The LG G4 has the most amazing manual mode built in already than what I've seen but here's an example of how different shutter speeds can affect the outcome of a shot. They're not in order(or they might be) but I shot these on my old Lumia 920 right on my front porch using a tripod and an app called ProShot that is soon coming also to Android. So the settings were 100 ISO and I used manual focus to focus on the rails. Shutter speeds range from 4,2,1,.8, and.5 seconds. This is with no post processing done.
