Download the "Phone Info" app. Open the app and select the CDMA auto (PRL). Just like THIS LINK describes.

I just answered your question in another forum, I use LTE on/off for Thunderbolt.

Lte/on off doesn't work for me. When I set to cdma only or cdma auto prl i see 5 bars but 3g signal never connects.

That's happened to me before and I hit airplane mode on, wait a minute and then turn it back off. Don't know if that's a proven fix but I has seemed to work for me.

I tried that with no luck. Restarting phone did the trick.
