Many applications don't start in foreground on S10

I have a Samsung S10 phone with Android 11. Today I saw that many applications fail to start (Waze, Clock, Outlook, YMail, etc). When I open ibe the window disappears but the application still runs in background and I cannot get it in foreground.
Not all of them are like this, Whastapp, Maps and others are working fine.
I didn't do any update lately. Any idea what might just happened? Thank you in advance.
