Many apps will not function properly over 4G

I'm on Verizon using a Galaxy S8. I've had this phone for over two years now and it's been great. However, a few days ago, a few apps stopped functioning. In particular, HotSchedules that I use to see my work schedule and Chase Banking. With both of these, the app will start but when I actually go to log in it just sits at the loading screen. Sometimes I can get through after multiple attempts but it's frustrating. Also on GroupMe, many messages either don't send or takes a long time to send. Most other things appear to be functioning well, such as text messages, Facebook & messenger, video streaming, etc. If I connect to wifi, all apps will now function normally.

I've uninstalled & re-installed the apps, as well as rebooted my phone several times but no luck yet. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks.
