I highly doubt the iPad 2 would hurt the Thunderbolt release. Most people purchase the wifi only unit at launch, and this typically is the highest selling unit anyways. I also highly doubt that the average Joe is going to buy the iPad at their local AT&T or Verizon store. Most will order from Apple's website or go to their local Apple store. This even when buying the 3G version.

I think the Thunderbolt will be released soon. They said first quarter 2011, which has a few more weeks left.

really wonder what HTC is doing on the side...doesnt seem like they care too much, although, they probably didn't invest very much in the development of this phone anyway, considering how it's pretty much just an evo 2 with some new parts >.>

feels like ppl are slowly being turned away from this phone, but, vzw still has a chance. depending on how they play their cards, it could easily turn into a great success... nevertheless im betting on the alternative since they're greedy sobs. im expecting another gigantic flop to add to vzw's record, which is depressing since i was pretty excited about this phone... 4 weeks ago -.-
