What about the March 10 date? Why would Bennnn state that was the release date for sure? Surely VZW didn't tell him that knowing the iPad was launched then.

Its not going to be ready for launch then so they are going to stick with the date they set for launch before CES.

Clearly Verizon is more concerned with supporting Apple product launches than they are with Android. I know business is business, blah, blah, blah. At the end of the day consumers are getting tired of waiting on products, and half baked ones as well. The XOOM Looks great but at the Verizon store today a couple was looking at the ipad vs the xoom, of course neither has flash today and that turned them off (older couple too). We know the xoom gets flash "very soon" and ipad, nada.

But it just keeps looking like less to do with the device and more to do with Apple holding Verizon's nuts and berries.

I'm sorry but until it says on either the HTC or Verizon Wireless website that the Thunderbolt has an official release date. Or when Verizon publicly announces it, there is no such thing as a release date for this phone.
