March 2018 Android Patch Issue

I have an LG K20 V phone running Android 7.0 with Android security patch level March 1, 2018, build no. NRD90U S/W ver. VS50115A. After installing the patch, I can no longer use fingerprints to unlock phone (even after deleting and re-adding fingerprints) and the brightness repeatedly goes to dark. Other settings are reset also such as the time for phone to sleep et cetera. Is there a way to uninstall the patch, such as can be done with a Microsoft Windows update?
