March 6 release

True...how many times did they "scoop" the verizon iphone announcement before they got it right?
On the other hand, with the slew of training sessions that went on yesterday, info leaking out wouldn't surprise me. :'(

I'm seriously not buying the laptop price. It can't be that high.

And also from here:

AT&T Announces the World’s Most Powerful Smartphone, the Motorola ATRIX 4G, Will Be... -- DALLAS, Feb. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --

AT&T is also offering an Entertainment Access Kit for ATRIX customers which includes the Motorola HD Multimedia Dock, a Bluetooth? keyboard and mouse, and a remote control for $189.99.

I happen to believe Fortune/CNN over WSJ...and both I consider questionable. I'm pretty darn excited about mid-Feb pre-orders, but sad about the 6 March release date. I'm guessing that it falls into AT&T's "12 Android phones in 12 months" deal.

Hmmm. I'm still interested in the Atrix because of the front facing camera. Maaaaybe I'll get the Inspire. Idk

I guess what I don't understand is...what is the incentive to pre-order? I don't see any special pricing. I doubt that there will be lines around the block like at iPhone releases. So what is the incentive for the buyer?

About all I could think of is that the phone may (or, may not) ship/arrive before you could pick it up in stores.

Outside of that, I've got no clue.

And the honor of giving your money up befor eyou get the product. So i guess the amazon and cosco pricing is right with the 150 price since it will be 199 at AT&T.

the non-laptop dock is bundled and costs $189?!?! wtf?? i don't need a bluetooth keyboard or mouse. in fact that negates the need for 3/4 of the dock (save the miniHDMI port). the dock itself better be ~$70 or less or i will be pissed. the laptop dock itself is already not worth it.

I knew all the "leaked" info was too good to be true. Since the media dock doesn't actually do anything except provide a spot for the phone to charge and offer what appears to be USB and HDMI connections, I don't see why this needs to cost so much...well except that it has the Motorola name stamped on it.

I just want the car dock for about $25-35 and a dock that I can set on my night stand to charge it over night and use as an alarm clock. I would like to pay no more than $25 for that dock. This is all rather troubling.

I really don't want the iPhone, but it has so many accessories at such a reasonable price. Also, I don't have to wait for it to be released. Decisions, decisions.

I'm actually thinking of paying the ETF with the iPhone depending on what other costs are involved.

I'd port my # to Google voice and then just start a new contract with AT&T.

I read the ETF agreement but it's not really clear if the price diff of the contract price of the phone and no-commit price must also be paid ALONG with the ETF. Anyone?
