Hi All,

So I'm wondering what options I have for watching the March Madness games on my Thunderbolt. I found http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/17/technology/personaltech/17smart.html?src=busln but in the article it mentions that the Android version doesn't work very well when streaming video while Apple version looks like TV. Any idea if the Thunderbolt being LTE will help with us? I'm really hoping I'm going to be able to watch games on my TB that are decent quality.

Last week I had Dish install my SlingLoaded 922 DVR. So I'm set! But I'm actually off all of next week so I'll watch the games on the big screen.

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to watch the games through the main MMOD site. It doesn't look like there is a specific app for android. Only Apple?

I guess you'll just have to wait and see, but us real college hoops fans plan ahead and take a four day weekend so we don't have to worry about watching games on a phone ;)

Good luck

The link I posted above specifically refers to the Android version of the App although the article is a bit confusing because other times it does not.

I guess in my head, this would be the perfect chance to show off LTE speeds. What better than streaming the NCAA games in HD to your phone? I'm still wondering how useful having super fast speeds really is if you're not tethering or using the phone as a hotspot.

I took a four day weekend last year to watch, not so lucky this year. Thankfully MMOD over my T1 connection at work will suit me just fine.

Yaa, I've got a slingbox for mine and it worked fairly well over wifi, hope the same follows over LTE. Plus I've got an ipad and might use the free wifi to stream to it for the time being. Hope theres not a 2gb cap on the hotspot before 5/15

For the two months it will be drawn on your unlimited data quota.

Three g is fine for my phone surfing. Lte is purely for tethering for my use.

I guess I'm not as lucky as some of you. The boss would frown upon me using the company internet to stream my beloved Buckeyes tomorrow early afternoon. If I can stream it on my phone I can set it in my lap and they'll never know!

I thought we were supposed to be able to stream all the games. Didn't they mention that at CES? I've been trying to find it, but I can't?
