I installed march OTA today through ADB and then had a 20 minute speaker phone call with no issues.

Which build are you on now?

Gotta relearn how to manually install the OTA. It's been a while, but I'm sick of being stuck on 7.0 with the October security patch!

I wonder if they halted the rollout of the OTA until they could fix the speakerphone issue. I'm also stuck on 7.0 although I'm up to date on security.

I was one of the ones that waited for the OTA, being on 7.0 and the October security patch. I rarely sideload, but I'm glad I did this time.

I can attest that in the past 24 hours, after sideloading the newest build (N6F26U) my phone has never run better. The phone runs so much smoother, even at low battery - and the battery is lasting a lot longer, too; I left it unplugged overnight and barely saw a drop. Tried the speakerphone - I never experienced the bug, and apparently it's been fixed in this build because neither I nor the person I was calling could hear it. Camera processes HDR+ photos faster (and lets you delete the ones you don't want processed too!)

Overall the phone looks leaner and feels better, battery and performance-wise. I am draining the battery today to see how it performs at the lower end but barring some disaster this definitely has gotten more life out of my Nexus 6! (Hopefully enough to make it to the Pixel 2 launch!)

Funny. My N6's battery life has been worse over the past couple of weeks, and sideloading 26U hasn't improved it--at least not yet. But this sort of weird battery activity has shown up before whenever Google messes with Play services and Connectivity services. Then again, it could also be one more indication that Project Fi is a poor replacement for T-Mobile: I've been seeing a lot more red/red-orange in my battery stats lately.

It is a bit zippier and battery life is slightly better. The speakerphone issue was definitely fixed. Overall good update.

Last night I received an update but only 7.0.0 with March security update so I'm on NBD92D. When I saw the OTA notification I was excited then disappointed, I'll wait a few more days to see if 7.1.1 appears, if not I'll sideload too.

Has anyone got the march update OTA?

I side loaded 7.1.1 as wasn't sure if it was ever coming OTA.

They removed the march image n OTA from the site, so probably nobody is getting it yet. Some ppl are reporting issues with android pay

Just BTW, could we not apply an OTA by coping the OTA file to the device and applying it via stock recovery, as described in method 1 here?

Obviously that article is referring to the 6P, but couldn't we do that without messing with ADB? I remember doing it years ago with my Evo 4g!
