I've noticed a signal improvement on my phone after the update. Used to get a bar in areas around me but now getting 3. Maybe tower work I'm my area of Morgantown west Virginia might have been occuring for some tome and the update happened to occur at that same exact time perhaps.

You might be on to something. At my house I normally got 1-2 bars. Now I am getting 3 sometimes 4.
