March update Features

Wonder what the difference between the regular ota everyone else got in the OTA built for AT&T?

AT&T updates need to age, like fine wine. (j/k)

I don't know if I am repeating anything you know ---- I understand it was pulled because of a bug and there were reports that it might be related to Google Pay. The last article I read a day or so ago said that Google and AT&T had not given a reason. I didn't research it much though.

Correct but Pixel 4 phones locked or unlocked with an at&t SIM got a different March OTA build from than Pixel 4 phones with any other carrier sim..hence the different build number.

AT&T users got March OTAs with changes catering to Pixel 4 phone's on AT&T. I just wonder what extras we got, what changed, or what was removed from our special OTA this month and why.

Was about to say the same thing. My NFC is enabled buy says NFC is off when I bring up the cards from power menu.

I don't have a problem with it I'm able to see clearly it's not as bright as my Note 10+ but no issues ...

Nice! I’m thinking about picking one up. I owned it previously and a big complaint was that it was so hard to set outdoors. So I’m glad they addressed it in an update.

How is it now on direct sunlight? I'm going back and forth over grabbing one again myself.

I actually just grabbed a new one on Tuesday and it's been so gloomy where I'm at that I haven't had a good chance to test it yet. But from a couple YouTube reviewers I've seen, they said it's better and you can actually see your screen in direct sunlight now. Nothing in how many Nits though, but it sounds like it's gives it an extra boost.

In regards to your thoughts about picking up a new one, I swear it's best to pick these phones up in March. It was the same thing with the 3 last year. After the bugs were squashed, it was such an awesome phone.

Great!

Yea I got the S20 Ultra and I'm thinking about returning it and grabbing a P4XL since they're on sale and heavily discounted.

I had the Ultra for a couple days too and while it's a great phone, the camera was so frustrating to the point where I gladly picked up a phone that costs less than half of the Ultra.

Exactly... The camera is hit or miss. I'm trying to hold out to see if the update fix much of the camera issues. But if don't, I see myself grabbing a P4XL
