I just bought an N1 unsubsidized... I'm new to T-Mobile and signed up over the phone (it would have cost $30.00 for a SIM card at the store). They are shipping me a free SIM card, but i don't have it yet.

So anyway i'm connected to wireless lan here at work, and the marketplace shows NO paid apps... I searched for some, they don't come up.

Does the paid apps portion of the marketplace require that I have the T-Mobile SIM? Or that i use the T-Mobile network to view it or something crazy like that?

Its because the market bills your t-mobile acct for the apps.. I think there is a setting in the market to change that but I have no clue how to do it..My wife has T-mobile.....Not I.

So is T-Mobile now forcing billing to be done through them? I thought i saw some people could charge directly to their CC.

This has been frustrating me all day, lol.
