market update on googletv stuck on "updating"

when opening android market 3 days ago,the Sony's google tv firmware 3.1 displayed the message that the market had to update.... it has been unsuccessfully stuck on trying to update now for 3-4 days.... annoying!suggestions?

Go into settings and remove your google account. Then go back and re-add it.
