Market Upgrades Stopped?

I used to be pestered everyday about my installed apps needing an upgrade right now or else, so I did it, but now I never get those notices. On the one hand, I’m grateful. On the other, I wonder if I made this happen or if they did. Help?

Never mind, I had unchecked Update on both Market and AppBrain some time ago, then forgot. My bad.
