Hey Everyone is there any way to sideload the marshmallow camera Google camera onto a lollipop? Thanks!

I dont believe so, the Marshmallow camera has a minimum API level that only installs on Marshmallow level API's. I believe the minimum is API Level 23. Even if it did manage to install you'd be missing features.

Okay gotcha thanks. Like I always say the only reason I have and relock my bootloader down is because of the awesome iOS emoticons, and yes l, I do use them all the time with people. I'll have to update my phone eventually though.

Think in 6.01 we get double click Power Button to activate camera.
Not twist to activate but I'll take it.

Haha yeah I read that somewhere myself, . I don't mind launching my camera from the dock bar. I just want to have the fun looking, animated iOS emoticons, alongside with the new camera app. It is true what people say, you can't have it all. I think you can unlock/root marshmallow, however, but that means I've still got to a hard wipe/data wipe though regardless. I mean all of my info is backed up with the cloud, it's just all those damn fine tuned settings and whatnot... They're quite the pain in the *** I swear... Unfortunately. .

Correct. I have it enabled on my n6 and man its awesome. Easier to launch the camera. You can even use it when the screen is on.

Have you tried Manual Camera? This app is able to access the Camera2 API and can do some really cool stuff. You can't soot video with it, but the controls you have for shooting pictures is quite impressive.

Check it out! https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ps/details?id=pl.vipek.camera2&token=NjTQI7gN
Yes yes I know thank you. I tried the camera application out a few times it's okay but it lacked a video camera which is a necessity for me as it is for most people. I'll just deal with the camera of lollipop until I finally upgrade it to marshmallow in the future.
