Upgrade to Marshmallow went fine. Now I have a SD icon in the notification bar. I do have a card installed. How do I turn it off? It takes space and I know I have a card installed.

It will show up every time you reboot. Just clear your notifications and it will go away.

This happened on my Sprint phone until the May security update. Now I don't get the message.

Lucky you. About the "May Security Update" thing... Mine (I'm with Bell in Canada) is still April 2, and doubtful that we will ever see another update. Ever.

Yeah same here. I don't know why it's so hard for them to release timely monthly security updates. Android is the most fragmented thing I've ever seen. It really SUCKS having to depend on our carrier for new updates.
