My turbo 2 just recently updated to the marshmallow OS. I noticed especially today that the battery is draining FAST! Usually I would get home from work with 40% left and it dies on me today. I didnt notice anything different when it updated except more emogies. The system version on my phone says its 23.31.24 kinzie is that right? How do I know the Doze is working?

Have you done an FDR? Or cleared your cache, at least? Both recommended if you have issues after an OS upgrade.

Factory data reset. Wipes your phone completely. Before that, though check the threads. There's a recent post about WiFi issues that could be related.

Curious... What are your expectations of Doze?

My first suggestion would be to clear cache in recovery. If that doesn't work, then a reset. How long ago was the update? It can take time for a new kernel to settle in.

Ok so the update never took. I see how this is extremely common and after searching and searching I downloaded verizon software assistant and got it to work. Now we will see how it works.

Your system version is incorrect for Marshmallow. It should be 24.14.11. You may have just updated the security patches and never got the second update to Marshmallow
