Marshmallow Power Saving mode

When I have my phone in 'power saving' mode after the MM update, it DOES really conserve the power, but at the cost of phone usage.
For example, I can't send an MMS. I attach a pic in messaging and it never sends, just sits there.
Or if I have Spofity streaming, it'll stop after one song. Have to restart the app.
Or if forming a new text message, it lags really badly behind the words you are typing. And then just catches up all at once.
Or Facebook will say 'can't connect right now'.
Any of you guys having these problems?
Is there some new setting I've not done right after reformating to factory and installing Marshmallow?

The power saving mode basically shuts off background data for your apps. You can turn this off for certain apps like Spotify so when you are using power saving mode it is left unaffected. Not sure where the setting is on the note 4 but on my s6 it's in settings>battery>more>battery optimization.

Hope this helps 😊
