After spending weeks traveling with friends, I returned home today and plugged in my phone to see a pop up telling me there's new software to install.

I install it and as soon as its done, my phone turns into a brick. I turn the screen on and instantly it pops up saying "unfortunately the UI has stopped". If I click okay, the message pops back up instantly. I pulled my SD card out to hope and see if I could find my photos I took and nothing is there. Just a day or two prior I had gotten a pop up saying my internal memory was 75% full and to send photos etc to the SD card to save space, and once I did that, all the photos were gone. Now after updating to Marshmallow the phone wont make it past the "unfortunately the UI has stopped" message UNLESS my SD card is removed...

Any suggestions here? I'd really rather not have to resort to a factory reset, and I'm unable to find my photos that I've taken over the past several weeks.
