The T is T-Mobile, right? I don't think TMo pulls the stunt of requiring connection to the carrier to receive the update, so as far as I know you should get it.

Currently says "manufacturer development", which means T-Mo isn't even claiming they have it in their hands yet.
These web pages are notoriously unhelpful, unfortunately, until the software is actually released. A week after the update is installed for everyone, the web page will probably update to "Completed!".
Given that the only US carriers to have it (Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular) are all CDMA, I suspect there is some issue holding it back from GSM (AT&T, T-Mobile, Straight Talk) implementation. This might also explain why Sprint had it before even the unlocked (GSM) version.
Yeah all ready have been to that page. Another question tho. If I take my phone to at&t or tmobile store sprint. Etc. Can or will they update my phone. Even fora fee?
