Got it from T Mobile, and just screwed up my Note 5. Randomly not detecting SIM card, data connectivity is intermitent even with full coverage, apps won't reload even when having 4gLTE data on and running. Nice features, but seems more like a downgrade to me. My factory Note 5 worked flawlessly for 6 months before the update last week.

Really dissapointed.

I work for T-Mobile bro and what I would do is backup everything and factory reset it. You shouldn't have flaws on it, MM came out pretty good compared to Lollipop

I'm wondering if the sim card problem is MM or what. A few days after someone reported the "missing sim card" error, my Note 5 started doing the same thing. But I'm with AT&T and still running lollipop. Twice now I've checked my phone and had a missing sim card message. After the first one, I cleared cache on everything, rebooted and after a few days, I got the message again.

I am not happy either :(. I get disconnection errors, I HATE that they took the crop option on the camera and put it back under edit and adjust, my Pandora won't stay connected in my car, and what is supposed to be so great about it. I wish they made the delete email option have less steps. Lame upgrade. Oh..and my battery life is less not more. I have had my Note 5 just 2 1/2 months. I do not want to do a reset. Tired of resets....I bought the Note after having to do resets on my S4 that had issues.

I find it odd how many say they are having problems with the Marshmallow update on T-Mobile. I have the Tmo Note 5 and my update has been amazing, no issues, better battery, great bump in overall speed. Hands down the best update I've ever gone through with the Magenta carrier

Same here.

I was wanting AT&T to take their time, as I've seen all the bugs that have plagued users on all other carriers that released it. But....on my note 5, I'm having major Bluetooth issues, to which cache cleaning nor Factory Reset, helped. So, I'm hoping the MM update will fix that.

Jesus, are you privy to any info regarding when the Marshmallow update will release for the Note 4?

According to sources I've contacted, in the upcoming 2 weeks or so. Hold on tight cause the reason why they are taking longer is to make the update worth for everyone. Verizon released it first, but as you can see on this forums, thousands have issues with the phone as of marshmallow, battery drain etc. Note 5 on T-Mobile received it and it has Been flawless to everybody so far. That's what the wait is all about but you're next :)

Thank you, Jesus. I look forward to the release. I will certainly check the forums after that and before I update.
Thanks again.

By the time AT&T gets it out I will have the Note 6 in hand with Android N and have moved on...

Just got the marshmallow update and does Nybody have issues sith the s beam? Friend of mine tried to send a file to me via nfc and my note5 wont accept it saying s beam isnt supported by this device.

Try doing a Cache Wipe in recovery (no data loss will occur) or do a full factory reset, (all data loss). Sometimes after these updates, one or both of those steps are required.

This is why I am glad it hasn't been updated on the AT&T note 5 yet.

You shouldn't be. I've sideloaded the latest AT&T MM about 3 days ago and it's been nothing short of a treat to use. I'm a pretty heavy user and I haven't had a single issue and have had a bit better battery life. No idea what's keeping them from releasing this already.
