Will this Wi-Fi tablet get an update? Only 1y old. Deserves the update, right?

The marshmallow upgrade will be available in the near future from my reading ... but I don't have any dates.

WiFi devices are supposed to be among the first to get os updates, so I have doubts about this tablet ever getting the update.

That's just an update to Lollipop, not an upgrade to Marshmallow. Marshmallow is Android version 6.0.

I've seen a few articles about that. So far, everything I've seen only mentions the 9.7" getting the update. I'd imagine that the 8" would get it, too, right?

I have noticed I seem to be getting random blue flashing screen after updating to 6.0.1 would anybody have any idea what it could be or how to solve it

My Tab A 8 is installing Marshmallow right now. It's sad that my $150 WiFi tablet is getting it when my $800 Note 4 isn't yet.

I'm downloading an 1100 mb update, so I assume that's MM. And yes, ridiculous that we haven't gotten MM on the Note 4 yet. You must be an AT&T user, too.

Ding! Ding! Ding! I am on AT&T.

I waited about 9 months for Samsung and AT&T to release 5.1.1 to replace the broken 5.0.1. During that time my phone was barely usable. Now I'm waiting again for the latest. I don't think I'll get another AT&T/Samsung phone again.

My Tab A 8.0 is updating now but is WiFi only. I wonder if that makes a difference.
