I have the s-pen 9.7 wifi version still no update here in Canada. My galaxy tab s2 lte got marshmellow about a month ago

No. Mine is the 8.0, WiFi only. I really like the way my tablet is running much faster now.

Just checked software updates manually for my 8" Canadian tab A wifi only and the marshmallow update is now available, 1,1 gb in size.

Nope. I've got the 8" w/o S-Pen. Got the update last week. I like it.

I'm starting to think 9.7 with S-pen might be put in these batches they talk about. I know it is normally regional batches but there are only two differences that I know about, the digitizer and 500 mb more ram (2.5GB vs 2GB), the rest of hardware is the same. Hopefully, very soon the S-pen variant will get it.

Canada here. Last night I turned on my tablet and was prompted to update to 6.0.1

North East US here and I received Android 6 about a week ago. I also have the 9.7 with S-pen. Give it a few days (easier said than done, I know).

Yeah just updated my moms 9.7 wifi only yesterday and also in Canada. I didn't get a notification to update or mabe my mom did but I told her never to update anything without me seeing what it is.anyways we finally got it when I came home and checked for software updates as I checked for it regularly .
As a side note does the update affect your volume?is it weaker than before?
Some of us with the galaxy s2 tab have noticed a drop in volume output.

I only use the headphones (Imute it otherwise) and felt it was louder than normal. I don't know I though, it wasn't so different that it couldn't be considered subjective. The few times the speakers were unmuted it seemed the about same.

I just read your post about a flashing screen I was having that same problem before I got the marshmallow update and I wonder what caused it also did you ever find out what caused it?

I'm still getting the blue flashing screen I can't work out what's causing it some days I see it a lot ..,then some days I don't get it at all ...confused
