Read an article recently (TechRadar/Gizmodo/some similar site) that said Marshmallow is being rolled out to the S5, then the Note 4/S6/S6 Edge. Wtf? Why is an older phone getting it first?
Article did not speculate on expected release dates for each carrier though, so it wasn't exceptionally informative other than saying that the Note 4 is getting Marshmallow.
I've given up on updates to my N4. Waited ages for Lollipop, and despite being the international unlocked version, was one of the last devices to get it. Maybe I will check for an update in 6 months, but by then hopefully I will have the N6 by then.
I just got the Marshmallow 6.0.1 upgrade yesterday for my note 4 and now I lost the ability to Sync Facebook with my phone. I am not happy at all about this if this is the new Android OS I might have to start looking at Apple!
I should have mentioned I am a Sprint customer. If I knew I was going to loose the Facebook sync option I would have passed on the update. Truthfully aside from the app icons looking different I haven't noticed any other differences between the old OS and the new OS.
