Massive battery drain since 4.4.2 on Droid DNA

I took the reset and rebuild route. I also turned on "Sleep Mode (turns off data connection during long periods of inactivity)" in Power. My phone is doing very well now; much better than before the update.

Sleep mode helped me out some too.

Turning off my gps has helped, i dont understand why i never turned it off before. Im trying to wipe the cache to see it that helps. Found these instructions on how to do it.

? Boot into recovery
? Press and hold Power, Choose "Restart" option
? When screen turns off, press and hold Volume Down and Power
? When the white HBOOT screen appears, use the volume button to move down to ?RECOVERY.?
? Press the Power button to select ?RECOVERY.?
? When the triangle and exclamation appears, hold the Volume Up and Power button at the same time.
? Using the volume button, scroll down to ?Wipe cache partition? and select it.
? Select "Reboot system now"

after several tries got it thanks hope this helps.

I changed my network setting on my phone from global to lte/cma. (settings=> mobile data => perfered network.) a few hours ago and it seems better on battery drain. Only more time will tell.

Does anyone know why my biggest battery drain is the dealer, does not a way to change any thing regarding the dialer

I am getting horrid. I am now using more than I am getting from my charger. Overnight phone only got to 70 percent. Can't find apps with task manager running slow. Do not want to have to reset it.

For me, the biggest reason for the battery drain seems to be phone radio. Phone radio has used 60% of my battery and it's just been sitting on my desk all day I haven't even used it.. any way to stop this?

Yeah, mine has too! It gets to 50% withing 6 hours of light activity. I have to carry my charger with me everywhere. I've even tried using the 360 Security app that has a battery booster.
Nothing seems to work,

You can try to recalibrate the battery, there is a bunch of information on how to do this on several forums. To give you a quick idea of what to do, you essentially hold down the power, volume up and volume down simultaneously for 2 minutes, do this with the phone plugged into the charger. The phone will reboot several times, but keep those 3 buttons pressed until your 2 minutes are up. Be sure to have have at least 10% battery. I hope this works out for you.

I have actually been having the same issues. Maybe not right after that update, butall of a sudden my battery is just dying twice as fast when im not even using it often. I now keep a charger with me at work. Very strange.
