Mate 10 & Pro coming to At&t and Verzion.

Lucky I hold onto my money. Close to buy international version.

I'm going decide mid January if this phone going be unlock or I'll buy Honor V10.
Personally since I am in the usa then I would prefer to buy the honor v10 to get usa warranty

Yeah. V10 is similar to Mate 10 Pro. I'm sending toward V10 since it's SD card supported. Cant throw away my 256gb promo SD card lol.
Oh that's a great point. Although I can live without one, Sd card is much preferred for me.

Hope it will be available through an AT&T stand in Costco. Does anyone know the price point?

Also how does it compare to 7x?

I don't believe that the price has been released for it yet. The mate 10 pro is obviously specd better. But most definitely diminishing returns. What I mean is say it sells for $800...it isn't 4x as good as the 7x.

Maybe Costco will carry it, who knows.
While it is a much better device than 7X, I'm not sure the price differential will be able to justify the quantitative and subjective difference between the two phones.

If it will be sold by att then there is a very good chance that it will be sold at Costco

Guys, I'm a newb here and have asked this question on Twitter but nobody has responded. So, I figured I'd join and pose it here. If the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro do in fact come stateside next year, how would they work on Verizon since Verizon uses CDMA? Does Huawei have to tweak something on their end for it to work? Thanks, and Merry Christmas to all

There are a couple of options. It could be released without cdma, or they could use a different chip in the usa similar to what Samsung does on its flagships. Huawei also has a technology compatible with cdma on its in house chip that it used for certain versions of the mate 9.

I was hoping to get some availability details on the mate 10 pro on ATT before the end of the year.

I definitely hope so too but honestly, it doesn't seem very likely that we would see anything before the new year

Thanks for responding. I'm curious, what chip does Samsung exactly use for their flagship devices that's compatible with all of the US carriers?

Samsung uses qualcomm cpu with built in qualcomm modem in the usa, and Samsung Exynos in most of the world. This is on the s7, s8, note 7,note 8.

The s6 and note 5 had a Samsung Exynos cpu but a qualcomm modem.

I'm hoping it's released on all of the US carriers. I was all in on the Mate 9 until I found out it wasn't compatible with VZW. I currently use the Pixel 2 XL but the battery on the Mate 10 Pro has me intrigued

Hard to say really. I mean they can do it. Whether or not they will, only Huawei knows.

Mate 9 had stellar battery life. I do hope it is similar for the Mate 10 series.
