I just got my Mate 10 pro after starting To use it i noticed the Phone feels slightly warm. Is this normal? My Last Phone Galaxy S8 also felt too warm for comfort. I can't be that unlucky? Welcome to the forums. 45 C isn't THAT warm. Desktop CPUs typically run at that temp.

Something you have to keep in mind, especially about phones is this: There is no cooling. Since phones made of metal are becoming more common, they are going to feel more warm than one made of plastic. The upside to phones being made of metal is the back becomes one big heatsink.

As we cram more cores into SoCs, they are going to heat up. Take a look at the new MacBook Pro i9. That chip cranks out a lot of heat.

All in all, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Modern chips will throttle themselves to protect them from overheating.
