Mate 10 still excellent

After looking at the Mate 20 pro and X, and the prices for them, I just can't see a compelling reason to upgrade to them at that price point. My Mate 10 still runs like it did coming out the box, the camera while not being able to do what the Mate 20 phones can do is still fantastic, my version gets updates every month and should get 9 in the next month or so.
I think it's better to wait for prices to come down and keep rocking my Mate 10.

I'm also finding it very difficult to justify the upgrade from my 10 Pro. It pretty much does everything I need it to and the camera is amazing in practically all the situations I call upon it.

Feels a bit weird because, usually by now, I would have found some reason (after liberal application of man maths) to change phones.

Same here, I keep trying to justify spending that kind of money this close to Christmas but I just can't other than I just want new and shiny lol.

Agreed. I think only the camera is what's letting it down now compared to the M20 Pro and P20 Pro. Not enough to make me upgrade early though. I'm due an upgrade in March so I'll either go for the P30 Pro or Galaxy S10 Plus when they come out then

With the Dec update, which came in mid Jan for US model, I'm seeing a sharp decline in battery life. My usage has reduced but my battery goes below 20% by 8pm, whereas earlier, it would be close to 45-50%. Anyone else having battery concerns now?

The US model is yet to receive Android Pie as well.

The phone is otherwise just brilliant and I find no other non-huawei phone that tempts me to upgrade.
