Looking to buy a new phone. Currently I'm rocking axon 7.

But it seems people are having a lot of issues with their mate 20.

What's up with the QC with China branded phones as of late?

No problem with mine since day one, came from Nexus 6P, Pixel 2xl, P20 Pro to Mate 20 Pro.. This one I feel is the best of them all.

No issue here... Working great... Awesome phone best of 2018 and maybe 2019...no phones even comes close in battery life... Camera and phone speed is superb

What issues are they having exactly?

Had mine since announcement and it's been working perfectly fine.

Zero issues with mine don't know what you're talking about, all phones have problems Chinese phones have less problems than Korean ones or American ones (Pixels+new iPhones) for sure.

Yes, it's amazing how the quality is in a communist prison factory. I don't think you could put a price on it <much sarcasm

You mean the killer chip factories in South Korea that made several hundred of Samsung workers die due to toxic chemical exposure and several more hundred terminally ill that Samsung tried to cover up? You don't see such "quality" in Chinese phone factories for sure. What was the price Samsung tried to pay again for each life before the story got blown up? $5000? $10000?

I was expecting something sooner and different. Are you actually going to gloss over and equate institutionalized communist prison factories with a privately held companies criminally (perhaps) activity? Are you not going to condemn both activities?
There are much better analogies out there, but 2 wrongs would still never make this right.
On the plus side, interesting how some peoples brains work.

Apparently you can put a price on it hence why Apple and many many more American and western countries have their products manufactured there to maximise their profits

Why are you all responding to the troll

Majority of the tech we use is made and assembled in China including Samsung, this argument is absolutely pointless.

People are suddenly against China, yet they have mountains of tech built there in their homes.

Utter hypocrites.

The best part is that all these phones tend to use similar components built in China anyway, so anyone speaking against a Chinese built product just because it's Chinese would be utterly stupid.

Even if a phone is assembled in Vietnam or some other country, most of them have components that are built in China anyway.

Show me an "institutionalized communist prison factory" in China and don't give me laughable fake news like the plastic rice, social credit score or BS organ harvesting articles.

Funny cause he's active on the Samsung forums yet I never see him condemning Samsung. Why come here and start trolling when you don't even have the phone smh. A hypocrite trying to take the moral high ground is just deplorable.

QC with China Branded phones. Hahahahaha. Ive had Xiaomi, Oneplus, Vivo, Huawei... Never had a single problem with QC. Top notch.

QC is bad for Samsung if you ask me. Ive had an S9+ with DUST under the screen, an XZ3 with DUST under the camera cover, an iPhone X with loose power button.

Lmao tell me more about QC. Dont judge Chinese Branded Phone because of 1 type for example Mate 20 Pro Gluegate issue.

Its like saying QC of Korean Branded Phone sucks because of Note 7 blowing up.

I'm not sure if it's a huge issue but I guess your typical phone issues some have with their phones.

Mate 20 pro looks really nice. More on the pricy side for me.
But it's not released here in the USA where I'm from.
I read LTE doesn't work unless u do certain things with the phone.

Any other suggestions on a phone from $600 to $900 USD

LTE works fine right out of the box for me in Canada and visits to USA.

What are your thoughts on a higher end Nokia phone? Does anyone had any experience with 1?
