4 is the limit. Try Dolphin Browser HD.... I got up to 12 Tabs before I stopped trying. It may be more... it may be less.. depending on what sites are running.

Is the 4 page limitation the same as other phones?
It would be cool if they released a new version of the stock browser that utilizes the higher memory and storage of the TBolt. (or maybe it already does?)

It's a limitation of the sense browser. The default android browser can handle 8 windows.

If you need more windows, get dolphin, opera or firefox.

Custom Roms will not affect the browser. It will still be the Android/Google browser. The only way to change the browser is to use a 3rd party app. .. Dolphin, Opera, etc....

Dolphin is garbage and seemed to be a resource hog, opera mini was good I haven't tried the full version, Miren browser has worked best for me. Using it on my nook and on the thunderbolt now, nothing but good things to say about Miren.

I know the android browser on my old captivate could do more than 4 windows so I am assuming the 4 window limit on the tbolt is a sense limitation and can be removed somehow.
