Maxx freezes and resets

Does anyone have a problem with your Droid Maxx freezing and resetting itsself? It happens to me 3-4 times a day and drives me nuts! I have an upgrade available but with the turbo 2 and Maxx 2 coming soon, I need a short term fix until then

It actually does a factory reset on its own? Or is it just rebooting?

I would try doing a wipe of the cache partition, which will not erase any of your apps and data but does often fix problems like these.

I also have this issue. My phone will freeze, then reboot on its own. Sometimes when I'm not even using it (It's sitting next to me and all of a sudden it's in the boot animation.)

I have wiped the cache partition. Still an issue. I'm waiting for Lollipop to do a full factory reset.

Full disclosure I use 102 apps and my phone was fully submerged in a dog's water bowl for a few seconds a year or two ago so perhaps my problems are different.

Mine just started doing the same thing starting last week. I've wiped cache and it's still rebooting every so often. I've noticed my device is starting to lag a bit as well, many times a freeze/reboot occurs after the lag. I'm hoping to make it to the announcement of the Nexus and Verizon's next Droids without having to factory reset. I've loved this phone but my battery is no longer making it a full day and the camera is just terrible... Time to move on.
