MAXX is buttery smooth except for Chrome.

I love this phone. I have not experienced any issues out lag...

Except for Google chrome! Most websites and even Google searches are choppy, jittery or slow to respond to input. I also seem to have an issue where I can't touch on the address bar of a new tab in portrait but when I rotate to landscape I can touch and type.

Anyone have any insight to my problem? I like several features of the chrome browser but the frequent and unpredictable lag is just driving me nuts.

I switched to dolphin chrome sucks maxthon is also a great browser. I just like dolphin because you can swipe to your bookmarks very convenient.

Chrome is also slow when I first start it on my Razr MAXX HD (last year's version of your phone). I am quite surprised at how laggy the "first party" web browser is on an Android phone.

compared to my gnex, chrome on the d.maxx is fast as lightning. i really havent seen any hold ups while using it.

I rebooted my phone and that seemed to alleviate the lag.

I don't have much if an issue.. I keep the browser history clear every time and m done w it.. I have noticed it will lag a little if I'm in chrome a long time.. But I close it and clear it and it speeds right up.. O also still believe in turning the phone off and on everyday.. That seems to help

I almost always turn my phone off at night I have no reason for it to be on. I think it helps to refresh the system and keep it running smooth.
