Verizon Pixel 2XL on Sprint.

I'm not sure why it's different but I'm sure it's a subtle difference. Maybe it's because it's not actually on Verizon.

Not everyone gets it on day 1. I'm running the same version of Google Play Services on both of my phones (Pixel 2 XL and Nexus 6p) as @Almeuit but I have not gotten the update on either while he has.

Yeah the odd part is you are supposed to get it on demand now. Before they did the batches. They still do for the notification but when clicking check for updates it's supposed to pull right away.

I think last month I was a day behind too, but that was a different phone.

These threads are always funny, people scrambling to side load an update just to get it an hour before everyone else

My update is installing now, I doubt I'll be seeing any difference after it's done though.

If anyone who hasn't received the update want to try this...go to Settings >> Apps & notifications >> See all apps >> Google Play Services >> Storage >> Clear cache.

Try checking for updates after this. I got mine instantly. Before doing this, I tried multiple times but didn't get the update.

My update is installing now, I doubt I'll be seeing any difference after it's done though.

My phone is much faster since the update. It gets where I'm going at least ten minutes before I do.

Looks like on demand is again broken? Last month worked this month nothing. T-Mobile here.
Up-to-date on the play services beta.
