I'm still on April, using on T-Mobile, Android O. The update button isn't working

Yeah I was getting the same thing. I ended up just doing the P Beta, which has very few issues, in fact almost none after a factory reset.

Still nothing. And I've even been on P for a couple of days so the phone has been reset. Unlocked on T-Mobile.

Jusy to clarify, I switched back to O. P was nice, but a couple of critical things weren't working for me.

Heard today that T-Mobile users were finally getting the update. Thought that could bode well for Project Fi users who primarily connect to T-Mobile. So, I clicked on "Check for updates" and there it was.

Yeah could be. I'm just wondering what differences did both the ROMs have.

Edit: looks like OPM4 was for Fi specific carriers. Since I'm on Sprint I received it. I guess folks with T-Mobile might have received OPM4 as well.

I doubt it. I suspect they're just using OPM4 to designate an alternate build, the exception that proves the rule. This month it was Fi carriers being all special; last month it was Telus and somebody else. (I couldn't check the somebody else because the factory images page wouldn't open for me!?)
