I posted this exact message in the "Verizon to release Major Software Update".....
I don't want to jinx it but I am not sure if anyone else has noticed that today is a better day. The phone is more responsive, better signal (stong 4G, four bars in the office, where I was getting 1 or none yesterday....and signal strength is -96dBm, 44 asu...), and feels like it is getting back normal...I didn't do anything to the device, except request a replacement device.....So I wonder if anyone else is seeing this improvement...

Mine still sucks here. Might have to call to get a replacement. I'm now paying for Non-existing data and hotspot!! Grrr!!

The issue can't resolve by itself. If you get better signal, maybe it's because the wind blows different but definitely not because the phone healed itself.
I got a replacement and couldn't be happier.

Something is going on, my phone is getting better and better....Better Battery...No more 4G and Wifi at the same time (like before the update)..stronger 4G at work, where I need it the most, even in the crappy rainy weather today......The thing is that I just got the replacement phone in, and now I am wondering if I want to go to the recertified phone or just keep my original phone.....Any advice?

Mine is still crap too. Will they send a replacement phone without the newest update? I assume they will since they pulled the update. Can someone correct me if I am wrong because I am tired of paying for something I cannot use.

I may be crazy, but I think that it has to do with that Call ID app that pushed with the update. It expired on my phone yesterday, so I disabled it. The simultaneous wifi/4G issue resolved immediately.

The correlation of slowly resolving is based on the amount of people that went back to the previous firmware. I did and it is resolved for me ;)

The update sucked like the vacuum from Spaceballs. That one sucked air from a planet! Ludicrous speed!

Good reference...I disabled the called ID app the day I found out it existed....but that made no difference for my phone....I went through hell for a few days....and then it started to improve.....But I said, I did not do anything...I didn ot change the radios, I did not root, I did not go to the previous firmware....I did nothing....

I bit the bullet and requested a replacement phone. Should be here in three days.

Mine was working just fine the past couple if days and now I'm back to the same connectivity problems.

Mine did the same thing for two days.

You might want to check with Verizon and confirm you didn't inadvertently sign up for the free trial period which subsequently auto-renews itself at a cost of $3/month. You can check online via the "Change Features" link in the "Device Management" section. Click the "view all my features and services" link and check for (I think this was it) "CALLER NAME ID". Note, that this is different than the "Caller ID" feature.

If you see "CALLER NAME ID", you can cancel the trial period from that stupid lame-*** app that was pushed with the update. You'll need to enable it if you've already disable it. Once you cancelled the trial period, you can "remove it" from an option in the app itself...BUT...in a display of supreme weaselness, the app is no longer visible but still runs. You'll need to disable it via the phone's application manager.

And to get back on topic - I tried to live with awful 4G speeds for a week or so after the update then finally gave up and rolled back to VRBMB1. The procedure is well-documented and was very easy to do. To put things in context - I'm not rooted nor do I do any sort of tinkering with my phone at the firmware level. So even this nervous novice was able to follow the step-by-steps to get back to MB1.
