is there any way to fix it? i decided to try some other themes out tonight... my backup is now NOT working. getting an md5 mismatch. eb13 ext4 rooted stock. both made in cwm 3.0.0.6 (orange text). trying to restore a nandroid backup (that WAS working earlier) of my system with ACE/beast/twilight and all my customizations and apps. i dont know what to do. its actually pretty upsetting with all the time i put in trying to make it like it was and how careful i thought i was being. ANY help is appreciated.

try this
adb shell
# cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/[nandroid name]
# rm nandroid.md5
# md5sum *img > nandroid.md5

im about to try a recovered version of it frmo earlier this afternoon. used EASUS Data Recovery to get it. ahh i hope so. if not im gonna try what you just put up.

idk what im even doing with that. i tried with and without the # symbols. i keep getting $ symbols in front of them by default. dunno if that affects anything.

muahaha! THANK YOU. its almost back to where i had it. almost perfect. had to recover files and change things and do that adb thing.. but awesome. THANK YOU :)

can i use system.img files from other backups??... cant find the one that went to THIS specific nandroid haha.

alll righty then. idk what that did. but whatever it did it let me use the nandroid. now only catch is for some reason im missing my entire system.img file. back to easus. THANK YOU for at least getting me this far.

what other files were their in that back up folder

only thing missing is a few custom tweaks that i have saved on my laptop as individual zips. i backed all my app data up to sd card. its all coming back together. thank you again.

ya the only big problem now is trying to recover the system image that i lost. worst off... i just keep rolling with the new rom i discovered (frankenstein). i want to try to hybridize ACE and frank. there is some really cool elements of frankenstein that i want to keep, but i like the overall feel of ACE better.

trying to use EASUS to do a full recovery on my sd card... maybe recover a system image i deleted yesterday afternoon so i dont have to start all over again. worst off- i do. now at least i know what i'm doing more than i did before. I can retheme this new rom in a couple hours after class today. its juts a bummer to loose everything.
