Bought this TV player many months ago but recently I have had an issue where any video I am watching will suddenly go from full screen to a little box in the top left corner of the screen. The rest of the screen would be black and the video would continue to play. Usually a reboot would resolve the issue.
Now the black has been replaced with green and the video stops playing even though I can continue to hear audio (see attached screenshot). A reboot is not resolving the issue either and as soon as I begin playing the video it does this. I am also having occasional lock ups. Firmware has been updated. Various different video settings including changing resolution have not helped. I have also swapped out HDMI cables and HDMI ports.
Anything I can do to resolve this? The vendor gave me a $30 partial refund and didn't even bother to troubleshoot it. I am thinking it time to get another but wanted to seek out any help first.
