Media server

Is taking a good 13% oh my battery every day. Will more like 10%. Will i don't watch any videos or music that would cause this. Anyone know how to lower this?

I turned off all lock screen tones, keyboard sounds, and touch sounds and it went away for me. You can try that

Oh another issue that I've read about might be from corrupted media files that cause the media scanner to run infinitely. So that might be another issue. Hope this helps

if this were true, how the hell are we supposed to find said corrupted file/files?

and OP, ive noticed it takes about 8% of mine too . interestingly enough though, GSam battery monitor does not show the "media server" as consuming the battery but rather some apps or something (ill pay more attention next time)
