Media sound continues to stop working

Is anyone having a problem where, out of nowhere, the sound for your media stops working through the phone? Mine continues to do this but if I restart the phone it works fine. Also, when it's not playing via the phone, if I connect the phone to a bluetooth output, all I hear is static. I'm trying to determine if this is a software issue or do I have a defective phone.

Static on a BT device that's within a few feet of the phone (and your body isn't between them)? Defective phone. (Phone in your left pocket and earphone in you r right ear is a little bit too much for BT - 35 feet in clear space, but 2 feet through a human body absorbs too much signal for it to work.)

No idea why the media sound stops, but that's a separate issue, and replacing the motherboard (or the whole phone - it should still be under warranty) should clear them both up.

Is this happening through your car or bluetooth speakers ? Have you tried pairing with other devices see if it continues?

It happens on various devices and even when its not connected to a bluetooth device it doesn't play the media sound through the phone's speaker

I think the feburary pie update might fix it . So be on the lookout and see if it does

It might fix the bluetooth dont know about through phone speakers

I googled and saw that this could be a software issue but if it happens again within the next few days I'm gonna take it back to the store

Software issues they wont help u and tell u wait until update is out

Same problem here. I have to restart to get it working again.
